We are proud to offer a number of outstanding international study opportunities to our students.
We aim to ensure that every student has at least one overseas study experience in their time with us. Current experiences range from whole-semester exchange to short term, in-country programs in a number of countries including Italy, the US, France, Greece, Indonesia, Spain, India and China. Scholarships and assistance are available for both international and Australian students.
Choose a unit with a difference, and let the world be your classroom. The following units are taught either entirely or partially overseas in another location: History of Art Rome Study Tour (VISA2283), International Studio for Art and Culture in Bali (VISA2270) and Non Euro-American Architecture (ARCT5514) including an optional study tour to China.
Each summer (January to mid-February), the Architecture discipline offers several overseas-taught intensive design studios that are available to 3rd, 4th and 5th year students. In recent years, these have been held in Milan, Athens, Stuttgart and Chennai. Barcelona will be offered for the first time in 2015.
The Australasian Master in Landscape Architecture (AMiLA) program, brings together the diversity of five different Landscape Architectural institutions to create an opportunity for you to study part of your Masters degree at a partnering university (RMIT, University of Adelaide, University of Melbourne or Lincoln University, NZ).
