In addition to the attachments required in the application form applicants who are not graduates of this University must submit an original transcript or certified copy of their academic record for all tertiary qualifications to date.
The Graduate Diploma in Urban Design is offered by the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Visual Arts and delivered by The Australian Urban Design Research Centre (formerly the Urban Design Centre of Western Australia).
The course offers students a comprehensive overview of the theoretical and practical aspects of Urban Design. It also offers students some experience as individual designers and as participants in interdisciplinary groups assigned to working on the complex nature of urban design issues.
The Gradute Diploma in Graduate Design comprises the following core units:
Admission to the Graduate Diploma in Urban Design requires an applicat to have an undergradaute degree in a field relating to urban design with a weighted average mark of at least 60 per cent or equivalent as recognised by the Faculty, on the recommendation of the UDP Academic Committee, or the Graduate Certificate in Urban Design of this University, or equivalent as recognised by the Faculty.
All applicants for UWA coursework programs must demonstrate a minimum level of English Language Competence.
