In addition to the attachments required in the application form applicants who are not graduates of this University must submit an original transcript or certified copy of their academic record for all tertiary qualifications to date.
Landscape architecture focuses on all aspects of landscape and land use planning, design and management.
This includes the restoration and rehabilitation of disturbed areas, as well as the design and management of outdoor spaces to create exciting, functional and attractive environments which contribute to the life of the community. Landscape architects work on a variety of scales, ranging from major regional projects to urban developments which include industrial, commercial, recreational and residential environments. The course will be submitted for accreditation by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects prior to being introduced in 2015.
The Master of Landscape Architecture consists of coursework units and an independent research unit.
*Students who undertake a BPhil(Hons) will take four years to complete their undergraduate degree.
Completion of a Bachelor's degree with a major in Landscape Architecture (or equivalent degree and major). Applicants must have completed units comprising the Landscape Architecture major with a minimum weighted average of 60 per cent, in addition to the University’s requirement for English language competence.
All UWA coursework programs have a minimum level of English language competence necessary, for both Domestic and International students.
