Fine Arts

The study of Fine Arts offers a rich range of historical, critical and theoretical studies based around a core and studio-based program.

Studio-based units comprise traditional and new technology areas.

A wide range of units on the history and theory of visual culture is available for students to choose from.

The School is known for the high quality of its history and theory units, which can be taken as a Fine Arts major within a BA degree.

In the Bachelor of Fine Arts students will develop creative skills by undertaking practical units in conjunction with studying the history and theory of fine arts.

It is highly recommended that students have a strong interest in contemporary art, art practice and art history.
